Kitchen Gadgets and Small Appliances
During the month of February, St. Stephen will be collecting Kitchen Gadgets and Small Appliances for the Fresh Start Furniture Bank. We will purchase utensil sets (measuring cups, spatulas, whisks, manual can openers, ladles) using grants from Thrivent.
In addition to the utensil sets, here is how you can contribute:
Purchase and donate one, two or some of the following:
Donate gently used, in good working condition or purchased new:
Collection bins for these items will be under the tables in the narthex and in the Fellowship room during February.
Our goal will be to collect 20 sets of items which we will sort and assemble into “Kitchen Starter Sets”. The date for this sorting and assembling project will be scheduled for either the weekend of March 4th or 11th.
The Social Ministry team is sponsoring this event in response to Fresh Start Furniture Bank’s request for our support.
Contact Martha Domke or Melanie Whapham for more information.
